Trumpet Archons serve as celestial messengers and heralds, though their martial skills are considerable. Each carries a gleaming silver trumpet about six feet long.
(Note: currently the Trumpet Archon's 6-foot long trumpet will appear in-game as a flute. Waiting on a trumpet model, but other than looking somewhat silly all of the abilities work.)

Divine Spellcasting: A Trumpet Archon who has levels in Cleric or Favored Soul will gain an effective caster level at each level in the class except 1.
Archonic Armor: A Trumpet Archon’s skin grows resistant to blows, gaining a +1 (stacking) bonus to natural armor at level 1, and a +1 (non-stacking) natural armor bonus at each even level.
Wings: Trumpet Archons have feathered wings which alllow them to move quickly.
Archonic Attributes: A Trumpet Archon gains a +1 bonus to Wisdom at 1st, 5th, and 10th levels, a +1 bonus to Constitution at 2nd and 6th levels, and a +1 bonus to Charisma at 3rd level.
Trumpet Blast: An Archon’s trumpet produces music of utter clarity, piercing beauty, and paralyzing awe. All creatures except Archons within 100 feet of the blast must succeed on a fortitude save of 15 + Trumpet Archon level or be paralyzed for 1d4 rounds. This ability may only be used when armed with their trumpet, and has a cooldown of 3 minutes.
Trumpet Blade: An archon can command his trumpet to become a +1 greatsword as a free action. This blade may not be further enchanted, but becomes more powerful with additional levels in the class. At 3rd level, it becomes +2 and gains 1d4 divine damage; at 5th level, it becomes +3 and keen; at 7th level, it becomes +4 gains 1d4 sonic damage; and at 9th level, it becomes a +5 and outsider bane weapon.
Archonic Immunity: At 3rd level, the Trumpet Archon’s immunity to electricity increases to 75%. This bonus increases 100% at 10th level.
Damage Reduction: At 4th level, a Trumpet Archon gains DR 5/evil. This increases to DR 10/evil at 10th level.
Exalted Weapon: At 6th level, a Trumpet Archon can infuse himself with holy energy, gaining 1d4 damage vs. chaotic and 1d4 damage vs. evil to whatever weapons he wields. This bonus lasts for 3 minutes.
Trumpet Reveille: At 10th level, a Trumpet Archon can play a short melody on his trumpet that boosts the morale of his allies, granting them (but not himself) a combination of Protection from Evil, +2 to hit and damage, and a 10% speed increase. This bonus lasts for 3 minutes, and has a five-minute cooldown.
