Specifics: The Knight can smite a creature of a different alignment than himself. Once, every three combat rounds, the Knight can use a free action (immediate activation) to add their Charisma modifier to a melee attack roll. On a successful hit, the attack deals the Knight's class level in physical damage. When the Knight rolls a critical hit with their Smite Infidel, the damage is doubled.2
