Doppelgangers

As the doppelganger grows, she becomes more proficient in changing her form, as well as more resistant to some magical effects. Her racial abilities become stronger, and the doppelganger is able to conceal herself more effectively.

Sneak Attack: If a Shifting Infiltrator can catch an opponent when he is unable to defend himself effectively from her attack, she can strike a vital spot for extra damage. This extra damage is 1d6 at 1st level, 2d6 at 3rd level, and 3d6 at 5th level.

Shifting Infiltrator Ability Scores: As the Shifting Infiltrator becomes more proficient at changing forms her ability scores improve. At 1st level she gains +1 to Dexterity which increases to +2 and +3 at 3rd and 5th level. At 2nd and 4th level she gains +1 and +2 to Constitution.

Change Self: Allows the Shifting Infiltrator to take on the appearance of any humanoid. (Note: Core races only.)

Infiltrator Armor: At 1st level, the Shifting Infiltrator gains a +1 (stacking) bonus to Natural Armor. An additional +2 (stacking) Natural Armor bonus is gained at 5th level.

Slippery Mind: At 3rd level, the Shifting Infiltrator can wriggle free from magical effects that would otherwise control or compel her. If the Shifting Infiltrator is affected by an enchantment and fails her saving throw, she can attempt her saving throw again. She only gets this one extra chance to succeed at her saving throw. If it fails as well, the spell's effects occur normally.

Improved Mental Acuity: Doppelgangers gain a +4 bonus to saves vs. mind affecting spells. In addition, at 3rd level the Shifting Infiltrator becomes immune to all forms of charm and sleep.
