Character Pictures Tips & Tricks for New Players

1. Racial Level Adjustment[edit | edit source]

Be aware, on SCoD, Racial Level Adjustment has an impact on the overall power of your character. As example, a ECL +2 race can only reach Level 28 (30 - 2 ).

A list of races and their ECL can be found here.

2. Modified Races[edit | edit source]

3. Racial Prestige Classes (RPrC)[edit | edit source]

Currently sigil has a project going, which transfers races into a new balanced system. Some get simply their stats reduced while other gain the opportunity to take a Racial Prestige Class to gain their full benefit.

4. Template Classes (Template)[edit | edit source]

Another part of the new system are template classes such as vampire or werewolf, which can be added to any humanoid race. Humanoid races are the base races as well as monstrous humanoids.
