If you ever wondered where your tax filings went for the year, don't worry - they're here, along with the various records that pour in from all the various Faction bureaus, ensuring that everything is accounted for; Property, licenses, trade contracts, copies of the recent census, and all sorts of other papers they can take for their collection, including a vast library of scavenged books scrolls, and other sources of information that folk trade with them. The Fated also keep extensive records on Primes and the Planes, especially the resources they have available, all neatly organized for use by the Office for Planar Trade.... and an enterprising Planeswalker, if they care to pay the piper.
The Office will trade in coin if pressed, but prefers to trade in kind - information for information. So be sure to bring a dark or a book with you, if you go researching here, for best results.
Philosophy[]
See, the Taker's are all about making their own Fate, right? Well, how are you supposed to make your Fate, if you don't know what cards Fate's playing with? That's where Factor Helena's branch of Fated philosophy comes in - if you don't have the right information, in the right hands, at the right times, there's no hope in Nessus you'll be the one in charge of your Fate. There will always be someone more informed pulling your strings. To cut those strings, you become the fulcrum of information - because with knowledge, there comes Power.
Knowledge is the first half of any battle and when life's a struggle between you and every other berk in the 'Verse - best get as much of it as you can find. To that end, this branch of the Fated while ruthless in their pursuit of knowledge is equally as militant in ensuring the right pieces get to the right hands... it's who those are that's the mystery.
