Emerald dragons are highly inquisitive, particularly about local history or customs. Often an emerald dragon's knowledge of its favored subjects surpasses those of the wisest sages. However, even by draconic standards, emerald dragons are paranoid and highly protective of their possessions. Their lairs are almost always riddled with deadly traps and even their closest friends are rarely (if ever) admitted into the presence of their private domains.
Please note that the natural alignment of an Emerald Dragon is Lawful Neutral. Emerald Dragon characters must be within one step of their natural alignment (LN, LE, LG, TN).

Subrace Traits:[]
Ability Adjustments: +2 Strength, -2 Dexterity, +4 Constitution, +2 Intelligence.
Dragon Breath, Sonic: In their natural form Emerald Dragons can breathe a cone of screeching sound that deals 1d6 Sonic damage per character level. Creatures caught in the breath attack must make a Fortitude save vs. being Deafened for 1d4 rounds + 1 per point of Con modifier. The save DC against a breath weapon is 10 + ½ dragon’s HD + dragon’s Con modifier. Once a dragon uses its breath weapon, he cannot breathe it again for the next 60 seconds.
Draconic Immunity: Emerald Dragons are immune to sonic energy, sleep and paralysis.
Alternate Form, Humanoid: Once per day a Dragon can assume the form of a specific small or medium humanoid. The assumed form allows the Dragon to wield weapons his natural form otherwise couldnt. He may only choose one appearance to change into, which is then set forever. A Dragon can remain in his humanoid form until he chooses to return to his natural form.
An Emerald Dragon may take levels in the Dragon Class.
