A branch of the Ring Givers.
Head: Ingwe Alting
Description: Bringing some of that Ysgardian style public house business to the Cage: a warm hearth, a hearty meal for the weary adventurer, and maybe a bit of bub to wash it all down.
Role in the Cage[]
Taking over the job previously managed by the Council of Inkeepers, the Ring-Giver's City Hospitality establishes standards for inns, taverns, and restaurants across the city. They set the standard wage, negotiate prices with wholesalers, and disseminate information about knights of the cross-trade, brawlers, and chronic bubbers to Innkeepers in good standing.
To set the baseline, City Hospitality directly operates a series of hostels and public houses across the Cage. Are they the best? Usually not. But they offer simple affordable wholesome food, and a place to sleep for the homeless and transients.
Philosophy[]
One could say that the philosophy espoused by City Hospitality is the "original" Ring-Giver philosphy. After all, it is headed up by the founder of the sect - Ingwe Alting himself. Ingwe teaches his followers that the multiverse will always return to those who give. And the best way to give? Hospitality. Folk remember a welcoming smile and a good meal, and will hold the Giver in esteem for it.
