You change the subject into a Small or smaller animal of no more than 1 HD (choice between pig, chicken, weasel, rabbit, and bat). If the subject fails his/her fortitude save, the subject takes on all the statistics and (not so) special abilities of an average member of the new form in place of its own.
In addition, being turned into a small critter has a deleterious effect on the subject's mental health. The subject takes a -3 penalty to Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma for as long as he or she should remain polymorphed. A successful will save negates this effect.
This spell has no effect on player characters.
