Type of Feat: General

Prerequisite: Shield Proficiency, Shield Bash, 17+ Dex

Strike with your shield in such a way as to knock your enemy off balance, dealing damage and knocking them down on a failed reflex save. As an instant action, use your maximum AB to make a melee attack against the enemy. If it hits, you deal damage and the shield strikes at their balance to trip them over if not resisted. The damage is equal to 6d6 with light shields, 9d6 with large shields, and 12d6 with tower shields. You then add +3d6 if you own the improved shield bash feat. Additionally, you add your DEX modifier as a flat bonus to the total damage. The knockdown effect lasts for one round, and the DC of the save is equal to 10 + half your BAB + half your DEX mod, with additional bonuses applied based on how large your shield is (1/2/4) as well as whether you own improved shield bash or not (+4 DC). Landing a critical hit of 20 will instead apply a special stun that disregards immunity, and double the damage. This feat has an 18 second cooldown. You must wait 2 seconds inbetween using bash-type moves.
